Meet the Owner & Broker

Andrew Meyer is not a real estate agent. He came to real estate through the back door: foreclosure auctions, bank-owned properties, and gut renovations. The broker's license came later, as a tool, not an identity.

In 2008, shortly after the real estate crash, he raised funds from family and purchased a home at a foreclosure auction to renovate. He was a recent college graduate, and the timing turned out to be a remarkable education. After successfully selling that first project, he purchased a bank-owned property, and the same bank financed the deal.

As the projects grew, so did the team around them. Andrew partnered with the founder of a now large local real estate brokerage to handle sales, freeing him to focus on what he liked most: finding properties with potential and managing their transformation. He got his real estate license for direct access to properties, then his contractor's license after learning it would unlock better construction loan terms. Before long, he'd moved from renovations into building custom homes from the ground up.

Along the way, Andrew and several partners acquired a large memory care facility in need of both a physical and operational overhaul. The venture didn't go as planned, and the experience was humbling, but it sharpened his understanding of where his strengths and interests truly lie.

In 2022, Andrew joined his wife's growing interior design firm, AVCO Design, and returned to his roots: purchasing a home to renovate. Today, their business continues to expand, and he still takes on renovation projects when the right opportunity appears. What he finds most rewarding is what drew him in from the start: seeing the potential in a space, assembling the right team, and working alongside them to bring a vision to life.
